Our story
Josh started working on garage doors with his dad back in high school. For the better part of a decade he worked as a garage door technician, figuring out what he wanted his career to look like.
When his dad sold the company, Josh kept working for the new owners, and realised just how much he valued the way his dad had run things. That "old school business" of doing good work and treating people right stuck with him. The desire to live out those values led Josh and his wife Haley to start Monashee Garage Doors.
Josh and Haley were raised in working class families and know the kind of work ethic it takes to achieve your goals. They were also raised in a time in history trademarked by the internet and convenience. Understanding these two worlds has been the key to their success. From our family to yours, we hope that you will join us on our journey in taking the local garage door industry to the next level with our "new school business."

What started out as a husband and wife team has grown into a whole family affair. Our team now includes the Strother brothers, their dad and their long-time family friend.
Owner
Josh started on garage doors with his dad in high school and has spent over a decade in the local trade. He was named the Greater Vernon Chamber's 2024 Young Entrepreneur of the Year. If something isn't right on your job, he's the one who calls you back.
